ABOUT JESSICA

At 26 years-old, Jessica is currently pursuing her professional career as a dancer and creator in Berlin, Germany. Dance has been her career interest since a very young age, and has dreamed of having the opportunity to continue her studies after high school. In 2014, she moved across the country to New York City, to further her studies in dance at Marymount Manhattan College. She has learned many codified techniques including Graham, Limon, and Horton as well as studying music, dance history, and composition. At MMC, she has performed works by Loni Landon, Elisabeth Motley, Murray Louis, and Maria Torres as well as presented five works of her own.

After graduation in 2018, Jessica moved to Berlin, Germany to continue her dance career. In this time, she has traveled across Europe to train and perform; in countries such as Italy, Tel Aviv, London, Czech Republik, and Hungary. Since settling in Berlin in early 2019, Jessica has had the opportunity to perform in venues such as Dock11, Oper Theater Bonn, Petersburg Arts Space Berlin, Band á Part Berlin, Teatro della Pietra (Bergolo, Italy), SPAM! rete per le arti contemporanee (Lucca, Italy) and Femme Fraktale Berlin. Working with renowned choreographers such as Caroline Finn, Christine Bonansea Saulut, and Stefanie Nelson.
